Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our farm and services.
What types of produce do you grow on the farm?
We grow an ever changing variety of vegetables (tomatoes, corn, carrots, kale, and more…) and fruits (strawberries, blackberries, cherries, apples, etc…), with a focus on sustainable farming practices such as no-till, whenever possible.
Do you offer horse boarding services?
Yes, we provide pasture, self-care, and partial-care horse boarding options. Our horse barn has two clean, well-lit stalls, and separate tack and feed storage areas for each horse owner. Our horse guests have regular access to a run-in attached to the barn, 3 acres of well-maintained pasture, and ample water.
Can I visit the farm store?
Absolutely! Our farm store features farm-fresh produce, eggs, and meat that we’ve grown and raised right here on the homestead, as well as home-baked breads, muffins, and rolls, and a variety of locally produced goods and crafts.
What is Harvest Hosts?
Harvest Hosts is a great membership program that allows RVers to stay overnight at unique locations such as wineries, farms, breweries, and museums across North America, without paying camping fees. Harvest Hosts members are encouraged to support the host businesses by making a purchase during their stay. Learn more about Harvest Hosts at harvesthosts.com.
Are your products organic?
While we aren’t practicing certified organic farming, we do take great care to engage in sustainable farming practices such as no-till gardening to reduce or eliminate the use of mechanical tillage, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides wherever possible on the farm.
